On this page it is possible to create or change rules for a virtual server – port services, inland port, protocol, IP-address of the computer to the router Tp-link.

 

VPS (Eng Virtual Private Server.) Or VDS (Eng Virtual Dedicated Server.) – A service in which user is provided with a so-called Virtual Dedicated Server. The plan for the most part it is the operating system control corresponds to a physical dedicated server.

Virtual private server issues the work of a separate physical server. On a single machine can run multiple virtual servers. Aside from some obvious limitations, each virtual server provides a complete and independent control and management, it provides its normal dedicated server.

Virtual servers can be used to adjust the public services on your LAN. A virtual server is defined as a service port, and all requests from Internet to this port will be redirected to the computer, based on the server’s IP-address. Any computer that is used as a virtual server must have a static or reserved IP-address as its IP-address can be changed when using the DHCP function.

  • Service Port – The number of external ports. You can type a service port or a range of service ports (in XXX format – YYY, where XXX – starting port, and YYY – destination port).
  • Internal Port – number of internal computer service port using the service application. You can leave this field blank, if the Internal Port coincides with the Service Port or specify the port number if the Service Port one.
  • IP Address – IP-address of the computer that is running the service application.
  • Protocol – The protocol used for this application; TCP, UDP, or ALL (All) (all protocols supported by the router).
  • Status – The status of this entry, Enable means that the virtual server entry is enabled and running.
  • Common Service Port – Some common services already provided in the drop-down list.
  • Modify – Edit or delete the entry.

To configure a virtual server entry:

  • Click the Add New button.
  • From the list of Common Service Port select the service that you want to use. If the list of menu Common Service Port Unknown service that you want to use, you should enter the service port number or range of service ports in the Service Port.
  • Enter the IP-address of the computer that is running the service application in the field of IP Address.
  • In the Protocol drop-down list, select the protocol used for this application: TCP, UDP, or ALL.
  • Select Enable in the drop down list Status.
  • Click Save.

It is possible that on your computer or server offers more than one service. In this case, select another service, and enter the same IP-address of the computer or server.

To change or delete an entry:

  1. Find the desired entry in the table.
  2. Click Edit or Delete in the column Modify.

Click Enable all to include all entries.

Click the Disable All button to disable all entries.

Click Delete All, to delete all records in the table.

Click Next to move to the next page, click Previous to return to the previous page.
