On the “Host” you can create a site settings and control access to the Internet on your router Tp-link.

 

The router has a convenient and effective function of controlling access to the Internet and allows you to control access to the Internet network computers. On this page you can create a list of nodes for the access control rules.

Select the tab «Access Control» – sub-tab «Host» at the left side.

  • Host Description – Specify the host name that must be unique.
  • Information – Specifies the node information. This may be IP-address or MAC address.
  • Modify – Changing or deleting existing records.

For example: If you want to restrict Internet access to a network computer with a MAC-address 00-00-22-33-44-AA, you must do the following:

  1. Click Add New, to go to the list of nodes configuration page.
  2. In the “Mode” field, select from the dropdown list value “MAC-address”.
  3. In the “Host Name” enter a unique host name. (For example, Host_1)
  4. In the “MAC-address” enter 00-00-22-33-44-AA.
  5. Click Save, to save your changes.

After that you will return to the “Node Settings” and you will see the following table:

Click the Add New button, to create a new host record.

Click Delete All, to remove all records from the table.

Click Next to move to the next page, or click the Previous to return to the previous page.

On this page, you can create an entry node table.

  • The Host Description – In this field, you must enter a unique host name.
  • Mode – Here from the drop down list to choose one of two options: “IP-address” or “MAC-address”.

If you select IP Address, you receive the following field:

  • LAN IP-address – Enter the IP-address or a range of host addresses in dotted decimal notation, for example, 192.168.0.23.

If you choose MAC Address, you receive the following field:

  • MAC-address – Specify the MAC-address of the host in the format XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX, for example, 00-00-22-33-44-AA.

Click Save to save the settings.
