The filter function MAC-addresses allows you to control wireless stations accessing the access point, by identifying the MAC-address of the router on the orbiting station Tp-link.

 

Select the tab «Wireless» – sub-tab «Wireless MAC Filtering» on the left side.

The filter function MAC-addresses allows you to control wireless stations accessing the access point, by identifying the MAC-address of the router on the orbiting station Tp-link.

  • MAC Address – MAC-address of the wireless station to which you want to connect.
  • Description – description of the wireless station.
  • Status – Recording Status: Enable or Disable.

To disable the filter function MAC-addresses, leave the default setting is Disable unchanged.

To create a recording, press Enable and follow the instructions below:
First, you must decide whether the registered wireless stations have access to the access point. If you want to registered wireless stations have access to the access point, then you should select Allow the stations specified by any enabled entries in the list to access, otherwise, select Deny the stations specified by any enabled entries in the list to access.

To add filtering entry MAC-addresses, click the Add New button and follow the instructions below:

  1. Enter the appropriate MAC-address in the MAC Address. The format of MAC-addresses following: XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (where X is any hexadecimal number). For example, 00-0A-EB-B0-00-0B.
  2. Enter a simple description of the wireless station in the Description field. For example, “A wireless station.”
  3. Status – In the drop-down list Status, select Enable or Disable for this entry.
  4. Click Save, to save the settings.

To add the next record, repeat steps 1 – 4.

To modify or delete an existing entry:

  1. Click the Modify button or Delete in the column Modify in Table Filtering MAC-addresses.
  2. Enter the desired value on the page, add or change the record filtering MAC addresses, click Save.

Click Enable All to include all records, click the Disable All to disable all entries, click Delete All to delete all entries.

Click Next to move to the next page, or press the Previous to return to the previous page.

Note: If you enable this feature and choose Allow the stations specified in the rules included in the list as a filtering rules, while the list of no-activated recording, then no wireless station does not have access to the access point.
